Amazing! I have a new favorite place 😍
I got the bacon breakfast biscuit, a hazelnut macaroon, French yogurt cake, and a salted caramel mocha latter; I haven’t eaten my sweets yet lol so I’ll update the review at a later date.
The coffee and pastries are so good! I have never been to France, but it makes me want to go. They did a phenomenal job decorationing the building. I love all the art and sculptures. It really enhances the experience.
Amelie's French Bakery and Cafe is a delightful spot for sweet treat. The cafe offers a wide variety of fresh baked pastries and breads with French flair. The atmosphere of the cafe is warm and cozy, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee and a croissant. I love the Parisian, “artsy” and modern aesthetics of the cafe perfect for first dates or simply unwind and treat yourself.
My favorite bakery in Charlotte! Has many options with reasonably priced pastries. And are absolutely delicious! All the macaroons are gluten free and they’re chocolate mousses which are to die for! They also have a gluten free bread option. Only giving a 4 on food for more gluten free options! Their staff is very kind and helpful aswell! 100% recommend going if your visiting or if youre just in the area and hungry!
What they lack in knowledge of and having vegan options they make up for in atmosphere. While they have added one vegan desert option the main menu lacks creativity for plant based options and is performative with a leaf for Vegan and a V for vegetarian when upon a closer look it’s not used throughout the menu. At least one vegan sandwich and one soup option that is available and in stock would be great.
Big time chain with a cozy and cute atmosphere. There's tons of seating in a basement style venue. A lot of the pastry looks really good, but if you're specifically seeking out croissants it might be best to go elsewhere. They are shipped in from a wholesaler, lack color, texture, and unfortunately flavor.
Skip croissants but trying everything else might be better.
Yesterday my wife and I had the opportunity to visit this Amelie place. We were pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful decor and the atmosphere of the place. We have never seen a coffee shop so well put together. The array of chandeliers gives the shop a very unique look. Adam the manager is very welcoming and generous. He practically gave us a tour of the place and the business. He is a very good guy who is an asset to the organization. He makes you feel at ease and welcomed. I had the latte which was very well made to my taste and desire. This is a keeper. I recommend it to everyone.
So I was in town for the Scentsy convention and we just stumbled in this place. Let me tell you this place did not disappoint everything was awesome so glad we stopped in. If you want a heavenly treat sop in and see what they have.
